You can now select the day of the month you'd like your budget to start on.
This is useful if you like to start your budget on the same day of the month that you receive your paycheck on, for example.
To set a custom budget start day, go to Settings > Preferences.

We've improved our AI transaction categorization engine, which results in significantly more accurate classifications.
We'll soon be upgrading the engine which does merchant classifications too!
We have implemented the ability for you to sync accounts that require 2FA. When you sync an account that requires 2FA, you will now be prompted to enter the required 2FA directly on FinWise.

To enable 2FA and add another layer of security to your FinWise account, go to Settings > Profile > 2FA.

You can now add colors and emojis to your transaction tags. Try it out from Settings > Transaction Tags.

You can now import and export your account balance history.
This is useful if you want to import your balance history from another source like Mint or Monarch Money.
Try it out by going to Accounts > Import Balance History

We've improved the accounts page to show you more relevant information with a simpler, cleaner UI. Try it out by going to Accounts and clicking on an account.

You can now upload attachments (PDFs, images, CSV files etc) to transactions.
This is helpful if you want to record receipts or invoices associated with transactions.
To add an attachment, open a transaction and click "Upload Attachments".

You can now set budgets for category groups.
This is helpful if for example you have a group called "Food" which has categories "Groceries" and "Takeouts" within it, you can now set a total budget for "Food" which will apply to the combination of "Groceries" and "Takeouts".
Try it out by going to Budget, and setting a budget for a group.
