This issue seems to be happening on and off with my accounts as well. Currently, Tangerine seems to be working, but Amex and Simplii, as a couple of examples, are not.
They SAY they are synced and updating, and the account amounts appear correct. But even manually going to "sync account" after reconnecting feels like pressing a crosswalk button at an intersection. I have no idea if it's doing anything other than turning on a light.

Seems like it's working now! Do you know if it will auto-update even with 2FA?

Nick Losacco: great, glad to hear! Your accounts should still auto-update even with 2FA as Plaid connects using OAuth/APIs, which means that 2FA is not required for auto-updates.

Jason Russell: So after a few days, my accounts aren't auto-updating and don't sync when I press the sync button. My last transaction showing is still from the day I made the last comment !

Hi Nick Losacco, apologies for the trouble. There seems to be an issue with Plaid fetching transactions for Tangerine. That said, I've just made a change to our Tangerine connections, would you mind please trying to re-connect your Tangerine accounts and Yodlee should now be used instead which may work?

Jason Russell: So I unlinked my Tangerine connection and when I went to reconnect I saw that Yodlee was now used to connect. Unfortunately, after I receive my TFA code through text, Yodlee seems to break the connection and ask again.
